My Craze and Passion in History
My Weird Passion in History
The world is an infinite place. As a young boy, I always loved history. Reading and watching YouTube Videos all about World Wars, Cold Wars, Hot Wars and of course, The Great Wall. Not the one in China, the one that a certain celebrity genius wanted to build...
In Primary School, there was Social Studies. Basically Geography, History, Literature, World Affairs all squished into 30-minutes of a spaghetti bowl of mess. One minute you'd learning about the capital of Cambodia, the other minute you'd be learning about how Napolean conquered Europe, like another World War II figurehead... Churchill, of course.
Then we got to Secondary School, where Social Studies were split into different subjects. So now there was 150 minutes of History! But entering History Class, I could already tell that History was not going to be how Alexander the Great died in Babylon or how Julius Caesar was assassinated but instead about how trade flowed in Asia and colonialism.
Luckily, I met Zarm Zam, another mediocre kid who was flippin' amazing at Science and History. He knew basically EVERYTHING. After hearing that I had started an Opinion Corner, he was the first kid in my class to jump aboard the Corner train. He started his own blog in April 2021, which you should really check out here. Then declared war on my Opinion Corner a few weeks later by releasing an article deadvertising my blog, before I de-deadvertised his blog a few days later (which became my top 10 most viewed articles). Eventually we made up. Started a second war, this time in real life, called for peace, before now, we are coming together and starting a project together.
Introducing - History Corner
So I know this is my third blog which adds on the stress to my daily schedule but since this blog is co-owned by both Zarm Zam and I, I get a little more flexibility and will not post as often as my other 2 blogs. History Corner will be a historical blog all about fun and cool historical stuff. Not the usual Axis and Central Powers. So, I hope all of you will enjoy the corner. The link for it is down below!
Happy Reading!
